Emlakjet, which follows developments in the real estate sector throughout Turkey, has shared its real estate data for the month of November. According to the company’s statement, 44% of those searching for housing in November were looking for rental properties, while 56% were interested in buying.
According to Emlakjet’s data, there has been no significant change in the prices of properties for sale compared to the previous month, while the downward trend in rental prices seems to continue. This reflects the overall stability of the housing market.
Based on the November data, women were found to be more actively searching for housing compared to men. The rate of women searching for housing was recorded at 60%, while for men it was 40%.
Emlakjet also shared information regarding the impact of the new listing regulations on the real estate sector in response to the question “Effects of the New Listing Regulations on the Real Estate Sector” posed to its users. 60% of the participants believe that the new regulations will prevent fake listings, which means that trust in real estate search platforms will increase.
Tolga İdikat, the CEO of Emlakjet, stated that concerns such as misinformation and listing pollution are present in the sector and anticipates that the new listing regulations, which include a single price regulation and require the use of Turkish identification numbers for listings, will have positive contributions to the sector.
These developments continue to have a significant impact on real estate market trends and user confidence.
